Now in our 6th year, the Great Falls Brewfest annually brings over 50 breweries to the fine folk of Lewiston/Auburn
The Great Falls Brewfest has been a staple of Lewiston/Auburn since 2014. What began as a rag tag group of 25 breweries and about 700 attendees, has now ballooned into one of Maine’s biggest and most reputable beer events with over 50 brewers and 150 unique beers. Featuring food trucks, cornhole, disc golf, live music, puppies, and more, the Great Falls Brewfest has something for everyone. Please join us this year on Saturday, Jun 22 for another Great Falls Brewfest!

Simard-Payne Memorial Park, 46 Beech St, Lewiston, ME.
Launched in January, 2011, Baxter Brewing Co. is the first craft brewery in New England to can its entire line of beers. Located in the historic Bates Mill in Lewiston, Maine, Baxter currently distributes its flavorful and unique craft beers statewide in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey & New York. One of Baxter's founding principles is to be a sustainably-driven, environmentally-friendly company promoting an outdoors-oriented lifestyle, and championing green practices. In 2018, we opened our 5000 sq ft taproom (“The Pub”) featuring 20 taps, to-go beer, and a good menu.
The Lewiston-Auburn community is a central hub between Portland & Augusta, in addition to being a link to many outdoor recreation areas. The historic mill town has recently seen a spring of growth and revitalization. While L-A has hosted other successful events such as the Great Falls Balloon Festival, and the Dempsey Challenge, it has not yet seen a brewfest of this kind!
The Annual Brewfest Cornhole Tournament will again take place at the festival this year. 16 teams, single elimination, one team prevails. Signups will be available in-person beginning at 1pm on festival day. Festival starts at 2:30pm

Band Beyond Description
A Band Beyond Description was formed in 2001 in Portland, Maine, with a weekly gig at the Alehouse. Many members have come and gone but the cause has remained the same. BBD now has a weekly gig every thursday at The Big Easy on Market Street in downtown Portland. We a Grateful Dead “cover” band as opposed to a “tribute” band, which means we don’t neccessarily completely emulate the Dead, but we play Grateful Dead tunes with our own personal styles. In keeping iin tradition with the Grateful Dead, we also cover some other great artists such as The Band, Allman Brothers, and Phish.
The Work Trucks
Brendan Lake is a singer/songwriter and small boat adventurist who has sailed his ships and sung his songs for audiences in harbor towns on the east coast from Maine to the Florida Keys, in Europe and the Azores. He played all around the San Francisco Bay area while living aboard his schooner and gained notoriety there as a solo act. Since returning to his home in Woolwich Maine, the ever changing lineup of his combo "Brendan Lake and Friends" has solidified into his current band "The Work Trucks".
